Brock Media launches horror genre podcast series, EERIE

Brock Media, the TV and film production company backed by BBC Studios, has made its first venture into the horror genre with a new podcast series.

EERIE is an anthology series featuring eight stories written and performed by leading voices in the horror genre, including authors Julia Armfield (salt slow and Our Wives Under The Sea), Alison Rumfitt (Tell Me I’m Worthless and Brainwyrms) and Kirsty Logan (Things We Say In The Dark).

At Television Centre in London, an outside broadcast from C-Screens of some of the key Rugby World Cup games has seen hundreds of people stopping by to check out the action taking place in France, kicking off with France versus New Zealand as the opening match earlier this month.

Series one explored the origins of boxing and how it’s been used for political and financial gain. The second series focuses on the human relationship with swimming, including how humans’ ability to swim has been influenced by politics, geography and the unequal distribution of resources.
