Davina McCall’s podcast to continue as she recovers from brain op

Begin Again, Davina McCall’s new podcast is set to continue while she recovers from her brain operation.

The surgery to remove a benign tumour took place on Friday after it was discovered by chance following an unplanned check-up. Her partner Michael has said that Friday’s procedure had gone well, and she is now resting up.

Davina’s podcast, which launched last month, will continue without a break because she pre-recorded the whole series before undergoing the operation.

 A source told The Sun: “Begin Again is Davina’s real passion project and there was absolutely no way she wanted its impact put on ice because of her surgery.

“There will be no break in the series run whilst she is out the spotlight.

“Davina made sure everything was pre-recorded and put in place so what she feels are important conversations can continue whilst she recovers.”

The series which sees an episode released each Thursday features guests who were handpicked by Davina herself, and include Ferne Cotton, Paloma Faith and Paul C Brunson.
