Guardian’s Pop Culture with Chanté Joseph to swap studio for stage

The Guardian’s Pop Culture with Chanté Joseph podcast will be live and in-person for the first time at the London Podcast Festival 2023.

On Sunday 27 September at 2pm, host Chanté Joseph will be in conversation with professional matchmaker, author, entrepreneur and television host Paul C Brunson. They’ll be discussing topics such as dating, relationships, pop culture and many more.

Chanté and Paul will take the audience behind the scenes with insight on the dynamics of TV dating, the key to a successful relationship and the role that pop culture plays in our love lives – whether we like it or not!

Since its launch in November 2022, the podcast has grown audiences internationally, with season two listens up 50% from season one.

Chanté Joseph said: “What is pop culture without a love or (loveless) story? All of the dating shows, advice columns and reddit threads show us we’re obsessed with dating and relationships, maybe too obsessed…. What’s needed in these conversations is a rational and objective voice to guide and inform our fixation on love so I’m beyond stoked to be talking this through with Paul.”

Paul C Brunson added: “The desire for love is a human need that plays a significant role in our lives and the world that we live in. Love, dating and relationships and how we build these connections continues to grow and change every year. I’m really looking forward to being part of the show and unpacking this further with Chanté.”

Tickets to the in-person live show are available for purchase now. If you can’t make it in-person, tickets are also available to buy to watch the livestream.
