Investigator Paul Holes joins Small Town Dicks podcast
Season 11 of the hit podcast Small Town Dicks is set to launch with twelve new episodes.
Co-hosts, Yeardley Smith and identical twin Detectives Dan and Dave, who were recently named Adweek’s Podcast Hosts of the Year, will be joined Paul Holes as a fourth host for the new season.
Paul is a New York Times-bestselling author, podcaster, television host, and retired cold case investigator. In the past he has investigated notable cases such as Zodiac, the Golden State Killer, and Jaycee Dugard.
As an FBI Task Force Officer employed with the DA’s office, Paul famously teamed with FBI and Sacramento DA personnel to apply innovative technology that identified Joseph DeAngelo as the Golden State Killer, the most prolific serial predator in U.S. history.
Although retired, he has become the go-to true crime expert, for media outlets seeking expertise.
Yeardley, Dan and Dave said: “Having Paul join us as the fourth co-host is like icing on icing. He fits right in! His knowledge of forensics and years as a dogged cold-case investigator allow him to bring those unique insights to the cases we cover.”
Paul Holes added: “Small Town Dicks is about providing the listeners insights from those of us who come out of the real crime world, and I am so excited to be joining the show this season! Dan, Dave and I have a natural chemistry as former law enforcement, and we each bring our own experience and perspective; Yeardley does an awesome job of asking the questions the listeners want answered as the stories unfold,”
Season 11 begins with a two-part episode on Officer George, one of the first officers on the scene at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland. He recounts his first response and discusses how the shooting has continued to affect him as both a police officer and as a father of two children who were high school-aged at the time.
Small Town Dicks is from the multimedia production company co-founded by Yeardley Smith and Ben Cornwell, Paperclip Ltd. Season 11 launches 30 September.
