New podcast explores Boston Police officer death in January 2022
34 Fairview Road is a new limited series podcast exploring the death of Boston Police officer John O’Keefe in January 2022.
From Crossing the Line with M. William Phelps Presents, in partnership with Mom’s Basement Media, Inc., the 10-episode investigation looks at the arrest of O’Keefe’s girlfriend, 44-year-old Karen Read, her high-profile murder trial, the impact blogger and free speech activist going by the name of Turtleboy has had on the case.
It also includes Turtleboy Aidan Kearney’s exclusive story—from high school teacher to jailed felon after exposing what he believes is corruption in the Read case— woven through a narrative depicting the town of Canton, Massachusetts, in utter chaos, divided, at each other’s throats.
Hosted by podcaster, writer and executive producer M. William Phelps, the series is based on over 100 hours of interviews Phelps has completed. It features exclusive audio, documents and insights from Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney, including never-before-heard new information in the case, his dealings and conversations with Karen Read, as well as exclusive interviews with two jurors.
The shocking series of events that occurred before and after John O’Keefe lost his life as a blizzard descended upon New England in January 2022 are covered across the series. Turtleboy intends to prove, beyond any reasonable doubt, Karen Read’s innocence.
34 Fairview Road will launch on all podcast platforms from 17 October, with new episodes released every Thursday evening for the following nine weeks.
