Former professional rugby player and HIV campaigner Gareth Thomas is to host Skin Deep, a new podcast series which uncovers the memories behind the ink.
Gareth has been tattooed all over the world, and for each of them, there’s a story that shares the best and worst moments of his life.
In this podcast series, Gareth invites celebrity friends and extraordinary people to talk about their life in tattoos and in doing so, explores topics such as identity, mental health, and self-expression.
Not only will Gareth hear from celebrities and fellow sportsmen, but also from lesser known people to get a wide range of human stories told through the medium of ink on skin.
Guests in the series include pilates rehabilitation specialist, life coach, and motivational speaker Tulsi Vagjjani, tattoo professional Beth Fairchild, who specializes in areola tattoos for breast cancer patients who’ve undergone breast cancer reconstructive surgery, and professional paralympic table tennis player, Will Bayley MBE.
Skin Deep with Gareth Thomas launches on 11 November 2020, and will be available on Apple, Spotify and all major podcast platforms.
