Consistently topping the Health & Fitness charts, Well Far hosted by Amy Lane, is the weekly running podcast that’s your coach, running buddy and lifeline to other runners around the world.
Over the last two years Amy has interviewed industry experts alongside run chats with famous faces such as Paula Radcliffe, Alice Liveing, Dina Asher-Smith, and Laura Whitmore.
Launching this Sunday, 31 January, Season 4 of Well Far will kick off with running experts Omar Monsour and Rory Knight, as they return to the podcast to share the best tips for new runners taking on virtual challenges.
Omar tells Amy: “If you are starting from scratch – or maybe you haven’t run for many months due to the pandemic and all the other challenges – the best way is to literally go out there and see what you can do at a comfortable pace. Try not to measure yourself against what you remember yourself running and just accept where you’re at.”
Listeners can also look forward to a runchat in the episode from ultra-runner Alyssa Clark, who ran 95 marathons in 95 days last lockdown.
Guests in the upcoming series include:
- Rhiannon Lambert – nutritionist, and founder of leading Harley Street clinic Rhitrition
- Dr Jenna Macciochi – immunologist, and author
- Deborah James – teacher turned presenter, with stage four bowel cancer
- Suzanne Shaw – actress, singer, and television personality
- Becs Gentry – peloton tread instructor
- Dr Heather McKee – health behaviour change specialist
Author, runner, fitness expert, new mother and host of the podcast, Amy Lane says: “Running fever has truly come into its own this year with more than a million new runners hitting the pavements, parks and streets.
“Maybe you’re one of them? With so much information out there, it’s hard to know where to start. That’s where Well Far podcast comes in.”
Well Far: The Running Podcast is produced by Mags Creative, the production team behind successful podcasts such as Deliciously Ella: The Podcast, CASTaway, and Give Me Strength with Alice Liveing.
Season 4 of Well Far will be available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple, Spotify, Acast, and Castbox from this Sunday.
