The Positive Leadership Podcast launches new series

The latest series of The Positive Leadership Podcast has now launched, sharing leadership lessons from some of the top leaders of our time.

Hosted by Jean-Philippe Courtois, EVP and President, National Transformation Partnerships at Microsoft, this series will feature striking and informative interviews with some of the greatest leaders in business today.

Listeners will learn how purpose-led leaders can generate a positive energy that ensures success, happiness and impact, as well as how to implement positive leadership in their own lives.

In this special launch episode, Jean-Philippe welcomes Bill George. Harvard Business School Professor, former Medtronic CEO, and author of bestselling leadership books: Discover Your True North and Emerging Leader Edition of True North.

On the podcast, the pair will explore the importance of having a strong support network and shaping your own story. Bill George candidly shares a crucible moment which happened in his mid 20s, when he experienced the death of his mother and fiancée within months of each other.

“A crucible is when you go through a great challenge in your life where everything is stripped away,” says Bill. “You have to look at yourself in the mirror and say, who am I? What’s important in my life? What is life all about? That was probably the lowest point in my life, I felt very much alone in the world.

“But it made me think about what’s important in life, and really it was about the relationship. None of us know how long we have to live but the important thing is being there, being genuine, being real, and helping people as much as you can.”

The Positive Leadership Podcast is available on Apple, Spotify, and all major podcast platforms.
